AI Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer passionate about building AI-powered applications using modern AI-assisted development tools ("Vibe Coding"). You will work directly with aviation industry experts to rapidly transform operational ideas into production-ready software. Rather than receiving detailed technical specifications, you'll collaborate in real time with subject matter experts to understand business processes and quickly translate them into scalable applications. This is a highly collaborative role where communication, problem-solving and adaptability are as important as technical skills.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate directly with aviation experts during live product development sessions.
• Build AI-powered SaaS applications using AI coding assistants and modern development workflows.
• Translate business processes into functional software solutions.
• Develop internal and customer-facing applications for the aviation industry.
• Participate in rapid prototyping and iterative product development.
• Integrate APIs, cloud services and LLMs into production applications.
• Work alongside internal technical resources and business stakeholders.
• Help design scalable software architectures for future AI products.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new AI development tools that improve productivity.

Initial Project

The first initiative involves developing software for smart glasses equipped with cameras, allowing supervisors to:

• View live video streams from field operators.
• Access recorded footage.
• Monitor airport ramp operations remotely.
• Build auditing and operational oversight capabilities.
• Integrate AI features over time (analysis, recommendations, incident detection, etc.).

Required Skills

Technical

• Experience with AI-assisted software development (Vibe Coding).
• Experience using tools such as:
  • Claude Code
  • Base44
  • Cursor (or similar AI coding environments)
• Strong understanding of Cloud-based development.
• API integration experience.
• Experience building SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

AI

• Experience working with:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI Agents
  • Prompt Engineering
  • AI-assisted application development
  • AI workflow automation

Nice to Have

• Experience with:
  • Computer Vision
  • Video Streaming
  • Real-time applications
  • AI analytics
